2009 Garden City Beach Guests Planning Ahead & Booking Early! Feb 13

Vacationers in Garden City, South Carolina are ignoring the economy and booking their vacations early this year. Many condo owners are accepting reservations further in advance for the 2009 season than in the past. The weeks are filling up in the nicer units at a seemingly record pace.

People have commented that vacations are important and they will not give them up! It’s their time to escape from the everyday realities… and the time spent with friends and family and friends are theraputic and absolutely necessary.

Beach Lovers who are just  beginning to talk about their 2009 vacation, shouldn’t wait too long to make reservations…especially if they cannot be flexable with the dates.

Gas prices are down and the pent up demand for a truly relaxing vacation seems to be peaking. So will the economic downturn bring out more beach vacationers this year? My Guess, at this point, is that it certainly appears so!!

Another sunny day in Myrtle Beach Feb 03

It’s a nice sunny day here today.  It’s only about 45 degrees out so the breeze off the ocean is a little chilly.  I am sitting up here on the balcony of 708 in Waters Edge watching some people fishing off the beach.  And to think, it’s 15 degrees and forecast for about 4″ of snow back home in Ohio.

Here are some pictures of the fishermen.  Enjoy.
